Honda's domestic vehicle output down 10.8%: Honda Motor Co Ltd on Tuesday announced domestic vehicle production, export, domestic sales and overseas output data for August, as follows (with percentage comparisons from a year earlier): August Production 77,416 (down 10.8 per cent), domestic sales 39,102 (down 13.1 per cent), exports 32,682 (down 35.6 per cent), overseas output 81,000(up 6.1 per cent).
HP, Red Brick Systems performance test:
Hewlett-Packard Company and Red Brick Systems Inc have announced their strongest benchmark results ever in a proof-of-performance and scalability test. Kodak, Seagate venture:Eastman Kodak Company and Seagate Technology Inc have formed an alliance to create an improved technology bridge between advanced photo system and personal computer. Under the agreement, Seagate will manufacture Advantix film drives and market these to personal computer manufacturers as an in-bay product and external peripheral. The users can enjoy all benefits of digital imaging including e-mailing their pictures, editing images and designing customized picture creations and produce high quality output at the desktop or from their photo retails.
