The Rs 2000-crore Hero group chairman Brij Mohan Lall Munjal has been awarded the Business Barons' 2nd Business Leader of the Year Award for 1998. The award, instituted in 1997 by the magazine Business Barons' to commomerate its first anniversary, honours entrepreneurs for vision, innovation and ethical business conduct.
Y2K report finds many key players unprepared in New Zealand
A New Zealand government report into the country's readiness to manage year 2000 computer problems (Y2K) has found many key organisations have yet to locate and address problems. The report said that the government needed to act as a catalyst for action to ensure that Y2K risks in the private and public sector were well-managed.
