Wipro Acer launches new ware

BANGALORE, Sept 7: Wipro Acer has launched a new range of Acer Pentium II and Celeron-based home and commercial desktop PCs in the country. "These PCs have the power to run both today's and tomorrow's applications, and provide the best, most rewarding PC experiences," chief executive of Wipro Acer chief executive Suresh Vaswani said. "These systems offer performance headroom for the future, thereby extending the usable life of the system for large and small businesses as well as home PC consumers."

The Aspire series focus on multimedia functions to support games, animation, graphic-intensive, websites, and the latest 3D images. While the Aspire 6000 series is fitted with a 3D SRS (Surround Sound System), the Aspire 6500 series has Dolby Digital Surround Sound for theatre-like sound. All Aspire models have standard Altec-Lancing speakers for best sound and a V.90 56K bps full-duplex Data/fax modem for global connections. With Windows 98 platform, the Acer Music Center with software Wavetable synthesizer willturn the Aspire entertainment system into a full-house concert hall.
