Bellevue University through its on-line option is offering an MBA curriculum based on the evolving realities of the world.Brought in by the Centre for International Management Education (CIME), the MBA programme is essentially a distance learning programme which has been modified into a standard classroom programme. With study centres in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi, this 24-hour on-line classroom is a discussion area specially designed and facilitated by a university professor, where you and other class members interact. The best part, however, is that a free Pentium computer is provided for every student who gets admitted.
On-line discussion sessions would involve small group discussions, position papers and articles posted for review and comment, problem solving exercises, both individual and group, course lectures in text form available for your examination, step by step demonstrations to guide your learning process and a personal tutor.
Accredited by the North Central Association and Secondary Schools, this 36 credit-hour graduate programme is open to students from all undergraduate majors. Students with undergraduate business degrees have the opportunity to develop an emphasis in either accounting, business administration, international management or management information systems.
In the case of Indians who have not been able to complete 16 years of education, there is a choice for science graduates to earn a BS degree along with the MBA degree and make up for the necessary years of education required.
In terms of cost, a general MBA (with the student having completed 16 years of undergraduate studies) would amount to Rs 1,80,500 while a specialised MBA would amount to Rs 2.20 lakh. A general MBA, with 15 years of undergraduate studies, would amount to Rs 2.60 lakh while a specialised MBA costs Rs 3 lakh.
