During the period, business from North America accounted for 79.7 per cent of the total turnover and the share of business from Y2K projects was 29.9 per cent of the turnover. Offshore business contributed over 75 per cent of the total turnover while the rest came from onsite development. Pentafour Software & Exports Ltd has reported a 47.2 per cent jump in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 1998, to Rs 21.11 crore (Rs 14.34 crore). Turnover during the period went up by 67.62 per cent toRs 95.78 crore (Rs 57.14 crore). According to a statement its order book is at $73.5 million for multimedia projects and at $71.5 million for general software all of which will be executed in the next 20 months.
