CLSA kicks off local operations

Mumbai, June 25: Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia (CLSA) Global Emerging Market unveiled the commencement of its investment banking operations in India on Thursday.CLSA Global Emerging Markets is the investment banking specialist organisation of the Credit Lyonnais Group. The regional investment banking organisation will focus on a number of areas like government privatisations, private sector fund raising and direct investment in listed and unlisted companies. CLSA is bullish on the Indian economy in the long and medium term while in the short term the team at CLSA feels that the uncertainties surrounding the markets need to be removed.
