A series of British education fair is being held in four Indian cities. Touring New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai, this fair is the first of its kind.Organised by the British Council, the fair provides an opportunity for students seeking an academic career in Britain to shop for the best courses there.
In Hyderabad, it was held on February 11 and 12; and in Bangalore, on February 14 and 15. The fair will be held in Chennai on February 17 and 18; and in New Delhi on February 20 and 21.
Interested students will be able to interact directly with British educationists and representatives from universities. They will get on the spot counselling on admission procedures as well as advice on under-graduate, post-graduate and research opportunities.
Several seminars will be held and issues such as how to apply to a British university and how to choose under-graduate, post-graduate or any other course.
The fair promises to have up-to-date information on a variety of academic and professionaltraining courses which include Business Studies, Botany, Media, Medicine, Environmental Studies and Engineering, among many others.There's an entry fee of Rs 50. This will cover a free fair guide, other information material and entry to all seminars. This is available in advance at the British Council.
