Mumbai, Feb 12: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) would soon unveil an enterprise-wide date warehouse system to facilitate its own data management analysis and strengthen decision support system.The system would help the exchange maintain historical and current data from various operational systems like clearing and settlement, listing, membership, on-line surveillance and cross multiple market segments into one unified data warehouse, an NSE release said.
The proposed system would be a unified pool of data from all the operational departments and would facilitate quick access to variety of information at a single point. In the first phase, NSE would focus on building a module for risk containment and would help the exchange in effectively monitoring exposure limits and margining requirements of members across multiple market segments, the release added.
