[Details] Birla AT&T and BPL US West, the two cellular operators in Maharashtra, have kicked off an exercise to minimise their bad debts through non-payment of bills by exchanging data about fraudulent subscribers.

Esteem zips past rivals in November

[Details] The Maruti Esteem is on a roll if sales of the car in November are any indication. The Ford Escort, Opel Astra and the Cielo were barely two-thirds of that of the Esteem. The total sales of the Esteem in November totalled 1,913 vehicles which was way ahead of the Cielo (621), the Opel Astra (322) and Escort (338).

AB Electrolux launches robot vacuum cleaner

[Details] Swedish consumer appliances major AB Electrolux has introduced one more product - the robot vacuum cleaner (RVC), the first of its kind in the domestic market. The robot vacuum cleaner is a smooth round disc with an in-built navigational radar that allows it to vacuum its way around a room without bumping into furniture or other obstacles.
