SBI accounts may contain provision for CRB Caps loss

[Details] The State Bank of India's accounts for 1996-97 will, in all likelihood, contain provision for the loss sustained through its transactions with CRB Capital Markets. The bank has estimated that CRB had overdrawn to the tune of Rs 59 crore.

ANZ tops foreign funds arranger list

[Details] ANZ Investment Bank (ANZIB) has been adjudged the top cross-border fund arranger for Indian corporates by Capital DATA Loanware, a UK-based Euromoney Publication. In the South-Asian project finance league too, ANZIB topped the charts by arranging the highest amount of $300 million in just five deals during 1996.
