New private banks' NPAs cross Rs 100 cr

[Details] The new private sector banks -- many of which are yet to complete three years of existence have accumulated a substantial amount of non-performing assets (NPAs). Their total NPAs have crossed the Rs 100 crore, according to Reserve Bank of India sources.

FedEX enters into 5-year agreement with Blue Dart

[Details] Federal Express Corporation (FedEX), the world's largest express transportation company, will enter the Indian air express market through a new agreement with Blue Dart, India's express company. FedEX will begin operations in India from September this year, subject to clearances from the Director General of Civil Aviation.

Berger net up to Rs 14 cr, to pay Rs 6 a share

[Details] Berger Paints India posted a net profit of Rs 13.79 crore, an increase of 40.02 per cent from the previous year's Rs 9.85 crore. Gross profit after interest but before depreciation and tax was Rs 23.72 crore against last year's Rs 19.69 crore.
