Faced with falling volumes, MSE plans parallel cash system

[Details] In a bid to retain its identity, the Madras Stock Exchange (MSE) is planning a parallel cash market system with a roll-on settlement. Highly placed exchange sources expect that the move would result in flow of volumes from other markets.

[Details] The Association of NSE Members of India has decided to temporarily avail of the Oriental Insurance Corporation (OIC) split cover offer. The association has asked its members to take this cover on a temporary basis and make ad-hoc payments till the matter is resolved.
