Screen Forecast

Our Verdict

Screen was right when we predicted that the youth would give Zanjeer a miss, and patronise Shuddh Desi Romance instead. In fact, as per trade analyst Amod Mehra, SDR has the potential of crossing the benchmark created by Aashiqui 2, which was a big hit amongst the young crowd. While Screen stated that the Priyanka Chopra- Ramcharan-starrer would receive an average opening, the film garnered a below average response from the audience. It remains to be seen whether Zanjeer picks up in its second week.
