Won’t file charge sheet against Palghar girls: DGP
Asked if the charges against the girls would be dropped, Dayal said, “Charges are dropped only after a charge sheet is filed. In this case, we have decided not to file a charge sheet under provisions of CrPC section 173.” The section stipulates investigation in a case be completed without delay and a report submitted to a magistrate.
