Mumbai: In a world where even the proverbial 'jack of all trades' is fast becoming a rarity, here is a man who is not just a jack, but Master of all trades. He is none other than Bollywood's very own Boy Wonder Farhan Akhtar, who also happens to be our Birthday boy of the day!
Born to celebrity parents (Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani), its only recently that Bollywood woke up to the magical powers of its latest 'It' boy! Even though, Farhan could have chosen to walk the silver path laid by his celebrity parents, he chose the 'hard working' way to success! That explains the reason as to why he started his career by working as an apprentice at the tender age of 17, which was followed up by doing multiple jobs of all shapes and sizes! True to the saying, 'Hard work always pays...but in its own sweet pace and space', Farhan took some time before he actually started 'calling the shots' (quite literally)! It's only after he got himself equipped with ample experience and expertise, this dude with an attitude made his writing and directorial debut with the mega smash hit flick ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, which escalated the careers of practically everyone associated with it. This was followed by yet another cracker of a movie ‘Lakshya’. All of these two films not just led Farhan to make his third 'Rocking film' which was aptly titled ‘Rock On’, but also gave him an opportunity to act and sing on screen as well. And it was this opportunity which gave India its very own multi-talented Superstar!
