



New Delhi: Turner and Warner Bros Entertainment, Hollywood’s leading studio on Wednesday announced the launch of WB, a new Warner-branded channel in India that will showcase blockbuster motion pictures and acclaimed television series. To go on air from Sunday, March 15, WB is Turner’s 24-hour, English-language entertainment channel, which will feature shows licensed from Warner Bros International Television Distribution. The channel will be distributed by Zee-Turner and will be available on both DTH platforms and cable and satellite homes. This is Turner’s second channel launch in India since the start of the year, and in an interview to FE in January, Steve Marcopoto, president, Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific, Inc had said that Turner’s English channel in partnership with Warner Brothers will be launched in a month’s time.
