V-C to write to Punjab, UT Admns to attend Senate meetings
Prof Grover said that being ex-officio members, they should attend the meetings so that they can come to know about the problems and issues related to affiliated colleges. The V-C further added that if need arises, he can write to the Punjab Chief Minister and Chief Secretary about it.
The V-C also assured Senators, representing colleges, to have a separate meeting in the coming days to discuss all the issues related to colleges.
The House saw debate over issues related to affiliated colleges when a matter related to granting provisional extension of affiliation to SD College Hoshiarpurto run add-on course-computer based accounting came up.
