In a partial easing of Wockhardt’s regulatory hiccups, the company on Wednesday said the UK health regulator has allowed its Kadaiya facility to manufacture and supply most of the products approved to be produced at the unit.

The United Kingdom Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency had pulled the good manufacturing practices certificate of the company’s unit based in Nani Daman, after an inspection conducted in September allegedly showed poor manufacturing standards. The Kadaiya facility was Wockhardt’s third production unit to come under overseas regulators’ scrutiny this year. FE
