TTK Prestige reports 27.5% jump in profit

Home appliances manufacturer TTK Prestige has reported 27.5 per cent jump on net profit at Rs 44.10 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2012.
This was against Rs 34.57 crore net registered during the same period of last year.
For the year-to-date period ending December 31, 2012, the net profits grew to Rs 105.06 crore, from Rs 93.62 crore in the year ago period.
The total income from operations for the quarter rose to Rs 437.13 crore, from Rs 334.33 crore.
For the year-to-date period ending December 31, the total income soared to Rs 1,075.21 crore, from Rs 870.95 crore.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 3,734.90 apiece up by 6.31 per cent over the previous close in BSE.
