Thymol rises on high demand

Thymol prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today, largely influenced by increased demand from consuming units amid paucity of stocks due to fall in supplies from producing regions.

Thymol prices rose by Rs 10 to settle at Rs 1,040 per kg.

Traders said increased demand from consuming units against fall in supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up thymol prices.
