



: Real time business and professional information providers, Thompson Reuters plans to continue with its recruitment in India through the following fiscal, said Peter Moss, managing director of content, technology and operations—markets division, Thompson Reuters.
Although Moss refused to disclose the number of employees they are looking to recruit, he said India will form a very important area of focus for the company, being rich in both technical know-how and domain expertise.
“India is a strategic and integral part of Thompson Reuters growth plans for Asia. Growing the business in India has been and will continue to be possible due to the incredible pool of highly talented people,” he said. He added that the rate of economic growth in India egged the company on to strengthen its hold, particularly in the financial markets.
Sandhy Vasudevan, managing director of markets division—India operations, Thompson Reuters said the company would remain “hugely committed” to India.
To add to its operations in India, the company will also set up a “technology excellence hub” in Bangalore to support its international legal business.
