: through the primaries, DeGeneres gave him good little YouTube bump by getting him to dance to Beyonce’s Crazy in Love on her show. She didn’t get a bad deal out of that jig either, with a poll showing her popularity temporarily outgrowing Oprah Winfrey’s. The latter is still diva no1 for sure, but she has lost out a lot of ballast lately.

After declaring her support for Obama early in the season, she has avoided having any of the candidates on her show. Meanwhile, DeGeneres had Obama bogeying again last week, with him declaring with perfect comedic timing: “I’m convinced that I’m a better dancer than John McCain.”...
