Teen held for hoax calls to Jet Airways
Inquiries revealed Yadav had in January 2011, made hoax calls, claiming to be calling on behalf of Dawood Ibrahim and threatened to blow up the Rajdhani and Garibrath Express trains. For one of the calls, he had used a SIM card registered in the name of his father Gorelal Yadav, and both were arrested for the offence. He was later granted bail.
“Realising SIM cards could be traced, Yadav obtained four to five SIM cards in different names using forged documents and used them only for making hoax calls. We are checking whether he was behind similar hoax calls in Bangalore and New Delhi between June and December 2012,” the officer said.
