Gujarat Gas inks MoU with GSPC

Gujarat Gas Company (GGCL) and Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) have entered into a MoU for a long-term gas supply deal. As per the MoU, GSPC has agreed to supply 0.85 mmscm of gas per day to GGCL from January 1 to June 30, 2025. The MoU was signed by GSPC MD Tapan Ray and GGCLís MD Sugata Sircar at Gandhinagar on Tuesday. The MoU is effective till December 31 or the signing of the relevant Gas Sales Contracts (GSC), whichever is earlier.

Renault August sales dip 4% to 3,733 units

Renault India on Tuesday reported a 4.6% decline in August sales at 3,733 units compared with 3,916 units for the same period a year ago, owing to rise in inflation, interest rates, fuel price and the rupee depreciation. Renault India achieved sales of 45,986 units during January-August 2013, growing over four-fold year-on-year, Renault India said.
