Tata Consulting Engineers acquires Ecofirst

Tata Consulting Engineers, a subsidiary of Tata Sons, today said it has acquired Ecofirst Services, a joint venture between Milestone Capital advisors and J Leon Group, for an undisclosed amount.

"With the acquisition, Ecofirst becomes a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE), the company said in a statement.

TCE, an integrated engineering consultancy solutions provider, offers engineering services in industry segments like power, nuclear energy, chemicals, infrastructure among others and has delivered over 7,000 successful projects globally.

Following the acquisition, TCE's current portfolio of services will be enhanced with the total sustainability solutions from Ecofirst, thus facilitating a holistic approach to building green environments.

Ecofirst's clientele include Tata Housing, Fire Capital, Godrej Properties, Hindustan Lever and L&T among others.

"Ecofirst will play a key role in helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals," said TCE Managing Director J P Haran. No financial detaila about the transaction were given.
