Tata Comm, BT in voice services pact

Mumbai: Indian telecom services firm Tata Communications Ltd said on Thursday it has signed a five-year agreement to share resources in voice services with British Telecom Group.

The company did not disclose any financial details, but said Tata would become BT's main supplier of International Direct Dial (IDD) and other voice termination services outside BT's footprint countries.

BT will also become Tata's main distribution channel for IDD in the United Kingdom.
