Vijaywada, September 22:: Two-wheeler maker Suzuki Motorcycles India said it will come up with a new 150 cc motorbike variant in February next year.
The new model would be an indigenous product, but certain parts of it would be imported from Japan, the company's dealer development head Prashant Aggarwal told reporters while launching its 156th dealership.
Suzuki Motorcycles was aiming to expand its dealership network further in the country to provide more customer satisfaction, he said adding that models like Heat (125 cc) and Zeus (125 cc) were targeted to provide Indian customers a refreshing new feel in the 125 cc commuter segment.
While Heat was targeted towards excessive bike users, Zeus was more for young college students and executives, Aggarwal said.
The futuristic air-cooled four stroke engine developed specially for Indian customers is Suzuki's new offering, he said.
The contemporary styling, finishing, plenty of quality, chrome and thoughtful detail touches like an engine guard adds style to the bike, he said.
Introduction of these motorcycles shows the company's efforts to offer world class technology adopted for Indian conditions that offers maximum value to "our discerning customers who can certainly looking forward to more offerings in the future," he added.
