Mumbai, October 21: : Sunsilk, the premium hair care brand and an expert in the category by Hindustan Unilever Limited, is setting the ramp on fire this year at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW). The all new styling range ‘Sunsilk Style’ has been indeed launched in style!

For the first time, Bollywood diva and Sunsilk brand ambassador Priyanka Chopra, sultry supermodel Mugdha Godse and the style icon Kangana Ranaut, walked the ramp for a hair fashion show like never before. They sashayed down the ramp with oomph and elegance sporting Sunsilk’s three chic looks that grabbed everybody’s attention. Priyanka wore the straight look, Kangana made heads turn in her stunning curls while Mughda walked the ramp with an ultra glamorous layered look.

The Sunsilk Style range is the new muse of ace fashion designer Narendra Kumar. Inspired by the three trendy signature styles in the hair fashion circuit - Straight & Sleek, Curls & Waves and Layered & Textured, Narendra Kumar unveiled his breath-taking collection ‘Nari Nari’. Quoting Narendra Kumar, “Sunsilk is a stylish, colorful and a youth brand. It was a great opportunity for me to be associated with such a global brand. My new label called ‘Nari Nari’ which is inspired by the Sunsilk Style range is very young, hip and for the stylish women of today which is exactly like Sunsilk.”

Sunsilk invited Andrew Barton, the global hair expert of Sunsilk from UK for hairstyling for the Sunsilk show. Narendra Kumar worked in tandem with Andrew Barton to create his new collection based on the 3 signature hairstyles - Straight, Curls and Layers. Andrew has been associated with Sunsilk for the past four years. He has been actively involved in creating and conceptualizing this chic styling range. Andrew, was also nominated as The British Hairdresser of the Year 2006-07. He has styled celebrities like Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and Kate Moss to name a few. Speaking on his creative collaboration, Narendra said, “It was a pleasure working with Andrew, whose experience and vision helped me to create this innovative and inspiring couture collection. Together we have created the look that is innovative yet fashionable, that a 20-Something Girl would love to wear everyday.”
