Sugar prices slightly lower on millers selling
Marketmen said selling pressure from mills due to month end mainly put weight on sweetener prices.
Sugar ready M-30 and S-30 prices moved down from Rs 3280-3450 and Rs 3260-3430 to settle at Rs 3280-3430 and Rs 3260-3410 per quintal, respectively.
Among millgate section, sugar khatauli fell by Rs 20 at Rs 3305 per quintal. Dmapur and Amroha slipped by Rs 10 each to Rs 3265 and Rs 3260 per quintal.
The following were today quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 3,280-3,430, S-30 3,260-3,410. Mill delivery: M-30 3,180-3,340; S-30 3,160-3,315.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3340, Kinnoni 3410, Asmoli 3345, Dorala 3315, Budhana 3315, Thanabhavan 3315, Dhanora 3290, Simbholi 3405, Modi Nagar 3285, Khatuli 3305, Dhampur 3265, Ramala 3195, Bulandshar 3260, Anupshar 3175, Baghpat 3240, Morna 3220, Sakoti 3240, Chandpur 3260, Amroha 3260 and Nazibabad 3180.
