New Delhi, Ranchi, March 8: Congress decided to postpone the rally scheduled for March 14 to avoid a possible chaotic situation in Jharkhand ahead of the trust vote on March 15.
“Keeping in mind the Governor’s address to the Assembly on March 14 and the trust vote the next day, the Congress has decided to postpone the rally,” JPCC spokesman Sailesh Sinha said here on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, JMM said that it would launch a state-wide agitation, beginning Wednesday to “expose” how the BJP had “hijacked democratic norms.”
“The BJP-led NDA looted the state exchequer during the last four years. Now they are applying all illegal methods to remain in power so that corruption committed by them should not be uncovered,” JMM general secretary Sunil Mahto said in Delhi on Tuesday.
