Special round for class XI admission Thursday

Candidates who have failed to take part in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) due to reasons like transfer of working parents, or reasons like death in the family or being allotted colleges where divisions have to be closed down as there were lower number of students admitted will be allotted colleges in a separate round of admission.

The round will be held at Abasaheb Garware College on Thursday, and will consider applications of around 60 students who have complained about colleges being allotted to them due to errors in filling college preferences while filling up forms.

“Candidates who could not follow CAP schedules will be considered for the special round along with other candidates. Candidates need to produce death certificates of relative reporting for the said round,” CAP authorities said on Tuesday.

Students whose applications will be considered in the special round will be conveyed about their colleges after scrutiny of documents on July 27 in a session at Abasaheb Garware College.
