Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar was admitted in South Mumbai's Bombay Hospital on Thursday morning after he complained of high blood pressure. According to officials, he was supposed to attend the Rashtravadi Yuvati Melava (NCP women conclave) at YB Chavan centre at 11 am but could not make it.
He was discharged after a couple of hours under observation. Dr B K Goyal from Bombay hospital stated, "He is admitted under observation in the intensive care unit. We took some routine tests."
The doctor added that the NCP leader is stable and undergoes routine test for blood pressure every year.
