A grand mono-acting competition was held for students of Std VI to VIII at St Xavier’s High School, Borivali (E), on January 17. It was aimed at encouraging young patriots to follow great leaders and achieve success. Some students donned Nehru caps while some wearing turbans wielded swords and shields. The judges were transported back in time. Students carried banners spreading the message of peace, freedom, goodness, courage and prosperity.
Loksatta Yashasvi Bhava book distribution
A Loksatta Yashasvi Bhava book distribution programme was held at Sheth B M Padwal High School, Padwal Nagar, Thane (West). The syllabus was provided to students of the school with the help of Ekanth Shinde, MLA. Books were distributed among 10th standard students by school chairman Vijay Padwal. He said, “Loksatta Yashasvi Bhava book is like Bhagwat Geeta for students of Std X.” Three students from each division spoke about the benefits of the syllabus. Among others present were principal Mohite madam and the programme was managed by Jadhav sir.
International collaboration for Kohinoor Education Trust
Kohinoor Education Trust has international collaboration for academic and cultural understanding and cooperation with Georgia College & State University, US, to enhance better relations and exchange of expertise. In sync with the group philosophy of ‘Quest for Perpetual Growth’, KET’s Kohinoor Business School & KIMI School of Hospitality Management are taking a leap forward by sending students and faculty to GCSU. The group left for GCSU on January 18 for a week-long tour. KBS
