Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri’s production venture, starring Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu has been titled, Running Shadi.com. Directed by debutant Amit Roy, the film is a romantic comedy and will be produced under their banner Rising Sun Films.

After making an impressive debut, Amit Sadh with Kai Po Che and Taapsee Pannu with Chashme Buddoor, this will be the second film for both the actors. “I had this particular look in Kai Po Che, and post that I was waiting to do something very different. This is a very light-hearted romantic film, which is so different from my debut film in terms of its feel, my look. I’m so glad this came my way. It’s just been a week since we began shooting, so it’s too early to say anything further,” says Sadh.

Running Shaadi.com is a coming-of-age film revolving around a website that helps people elope and get married. The film went on floors recently, in Amritsar and the first scene was shot at the Golden temple showing Sadh doing seva. Their next schedule will be in Dalhousie.

Apart from this, Sadh will also be seen in 10 Janpath. “Once I complete Running..., I will shoot for 10 Janpath from January next year. The film is a political thriller so I am looking forward to it,” says Amit. Directed by Aditya Dutt (Table No 21) Sadh will share screen space with Paresh Rawal.
