New Delhi: : Notwithstanding long distance revenue losses that may occur as a result of its latest initiative, AirTel announced that it would be offering a new facility which would allow AirTel subscribers in Delhi to call roamers on the Delhi AirTel network at almost local call charges. Dubbed subscriber local dialling facility (SLD), it would be commercially available from June 15. There is no charge for the service.
