Report indicts J-K minister for helping son pass exams

The J&K Police’s Crime Branch, in its report to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has apparently indicted Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and some officials of the Board of School Education for using unfair means to help his foster son clear the Class X examination in 2009.

Sources said that Omar, while chairing the Cabinet meeting in Jammu on Wednesday, told some ministers that he has received the report from the Crime Branch and that it goes against Peerzada, who is from the Congress. Crime Branch, officials, however remained tightlipped about the report.

Sources said that in its report, the Crime Branch, which had been asked to probe the matter by the Chief Minister after reports against the Education Minister triggered protests in the state, has also blamed some top officials of the Board of School Education who allegedly helped Peerzada’s son clear the exams.

Surprising to see one episode in the media. Is this the only case? What about such things in other states? Are those "Politicians" saints? Why don't we let teachers decide what to teach and how to teach? Why idiot politicians decide what to teach and how to teach?
