Reliance Mutual Fund, SBI life and Amansa capital today bought 58.94 lakh shares of HT Media in separate bulk deals amounting to Rs 44.20 crore.
HPC (Mauritius) Ltd, meanwhile, offloaded over 70 lakh shares of HT Media for Rs 52.6 crore through the open market route. According to the information available with the NSE, HPC (Mauritius) sold 70,12,748 scrips of HT Media.
The shares were offloaded on an average price of Rs 75.03 apiece valuing the transaction at Rs 52.61 crore, data showed.
Separately, the NSE information showed that Reliance Regular Saving Fund Equity Option picked up 25 lakh shares of HT Media for Rs 18.75 crore.
SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd picked up 20 lakh scrips of HT Media in a transaction worth Rs 15 crore and Amansa Capital Pte Ltd purchased 13.94 lakh shares of the media house for Rs 10.45 crore.
Each of the three entities picked up the scrip at an average price of Rs 75 apiece.
The HT Media scrip plunged by 6.61 per cent to close at Rs 82.65 apiece on the BSE.
