Ranbaxy, a unit of Tokyo-based Daiichi Sankyo, is withdrew 64,626 bottles of atorvastatin calcium from the US market after a product complaint was received by a pharmacist, the US Food and Drug Administration said on its website. The scrip was trading 2.51% lower at Rs 361.05 at 12.00pm IST on the BSE.

Four plants of Ranbaxy ó Toansa, Dewas, Paonta Sahib and Mohali ó have been banned by the US FDA for deficiencies in manufacturing practices.
