Hit by slowdown in the domestic automotive market, utility vehicle maker Mahindra and Mahindra on Saturday said it will stop production for up to three days this month at its automotive factories to align output with sales requirements. "The management does not envisage any adverse impact on availability of vehicles in the market due to adequacy of vehicle stocks to serve market requirements," the company said. The company has facilities in Chakan, Nashik and Haridwar. The company had announced in August that it will stop production at its automotive plants up to six days in the forthcoming months. Lowe Lintas & Partners is ad agency of the year
Advertising major Lowe Lintas & Partners was adjudged the 'EFFIE Agency of the Year' with six gold and five silver metals at the ‘EFFIE 2013 Awards' organised by the Advertising Club of India. Ogilvy & Mather India (O&M) bagged the ‘Grand Effie' award for its 'Roti campaign' for Hindustan Unilever (HUL)'s soap Lifebuoy, which was executed during the Kumbh Mela. HUL won the `EFFIE Client of the Year' award at the glitzy function. In the final tally, Lowe Lintas was ahead of the race for metals with 280 points, while O&M took the second spot with 130 points and McCann Erickson stood third with 60 points.
