an hour, Rs 20 from 30 mins to one hour, from the one to third hour car owners need to shell out Rs 50 and after three hours Rs 20 will be added to every additional hour. Earlier, car parking rates were Rs 10 for 10 hours.
They have also proposed to increase the monthly car parking rate from Rs 500 to Rs 1,500.
The EDMC had also proposed to levy Rs 1,200 per annum as Professional Tax on salary, wage earners, consultants, insurance agents, businessman and entrepreneurs with earnings between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh per annum.
Those who earn more than Rs 10 lakh per annum will have to pay Rs 2,400 per year as Professional Tax. The EDMC plans to fish in Rs 20 crore as revenue from professional tax in the next fiscal.
In a bid to improve education infrastructure in EDMC area, 200 classrooms are to be constructed in the next financial year. A Smart Kid Project ¿ where every school would be provided with one computer lab comprising of 20 computers and a computer teacher have also been proposed in the budget.
It had also stated to increase the motivation amount to the girls from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000 to increase the enrolment of girl child in schools.
"We have proposed to increase the motivation amount to the girl students from Rs 200 to Rs 1,000. We have also proposed to keep 1.22 crores in Budget for computer tablets to students of class IV and V," said Yadav, while mentioning various other education projects proposed in the budget.
In a bid to combat the menace of dengue more effectively in the EDMC area, the budget had proposed to replace 2 tiffa thermal, 100 hand operated fogging machines and 200 Ganesh pumps and Knapsack sprayers for more effective control over vector-borne diseases.
It had also proposed to use a mobile exhibition cum audio-visual bus to educate and aware the citizens in unauthorised colonies about vector borne and water borne diseases.
