After visiting BJP leader Nitin Gadkari’s Agrovision expo here, NCP leader Sharad Pawar Sunday skirted the issue of Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s “terror camps” remark. Asked what he thought about the charge, Pawar said, “I don’t have authentic information about the issue. Maybe Shinde has it.”

He, however, added: “When I was Home Minister, there were inputs about involvement of communal parities in riots.”

Asked if he is open to going with NDA in view of surveys indicating gains for the BJP-led alliance in forthcoming general elections, Pawar said, “It’s just a survey. We have worked with Congress for 15 years and are still working. I think UPA will remain intact.”

Asked about his views on Rahul Gandhi, Pawar said, “I haven’t had much opportunity to interact with him.”

About the possibility of UPA returning to power, Pawar said, “People of the country will support us if they feel we have done well or they may reject if they feel otherwise.”
