In view of demands for reviewing the age bracket for nursery admission, Delhi Government today decided to set up a committee to examine the issue for the academic session 2014-15.
"We will not review the decision as the admission process will begin from January 1. But we have decided to examine it for the academic year 2014-15," Education Minister Kiran Walia said after the decision was taken at a meeting of Delhi School Admission Advisory Board presided by her.
After Delhi Government finalised the age limits for admission into nursery, kindergarten and class one for the academic year 2013-14, a number of schools had sought a review of the decision.
