Panel seeks legal advice on 2G pricing

The telecom commission on Tuesday decided to seek legal advice on the Trai’s recommendation on 2G spectrum pricing. This is because it is felt that since the operators are divided on it there is high probability that they may move court once the government accepts and implements it. On the issue of hiving off or demerging the 773 acre surplus land of the erstwhile VSNL, the commission decided to take it up at a latter date, by when various land deeds on the land in question would be submitted.
