Pak denies cross-LoC attack; claims 'ground verification' done

From Rezaul H Laskar

Islamabad, Jan 9 (PTI)

Pakistani military on Wednesday rejected India's contention that its troops had attacked an Indian patrol and killed two soldiers, claiming that it had carried out ground verification and “found nothing of this sort happened”.

The Pakistani side conveyed this during a phone conversation between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the two sides.

A Pakistani military official, who did not want to be named, said Pakistan's DGMO Maj Gen Ashfaq Nadeem talked to his Indian counterpart Lt Gen Vinod Bhatia on a hotline and rejected the Indian Army's “allegations of cross-LoC firing by Pakistani troops and killing any Indian soldier”.

“The Indian authorities were informed that Pakistan has carried out ground verification and checked and found nothing of this sort happened as is being alleged by India,” the military official said.

“It is mere propaganda by the Indian Army,” the official claimed.

The Pakistani military had yesterday also rejected the Indian Army's contention that Pakistani troops had killed two Indian soldiers after crossing the Line of Control, saying the accusation was aimed at diverting attention from another incident over the weekend.

The Indian Defence Ministry described the killing of the two soldiers by Pakistani forces as a “provocative action” and said New Delhi would take up the issue with Islamabad.

Pakistani soldiers crossed into Indian territory in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir and ambushed an Indian patrol killing two soldiers, one of whom was decapitated. Two more soldiers were injured

Hello. Comment from Pakistan: Can you please tell me why the killing of a P@k soldier (just a day before this incident) by 1ndian troops along the LoC does not deserve condemnation? Thanks!

So you agree that the mutilation of two Indian Jawans was a retaliation of the death of a Pakistani soldier indeed!! Anyway, that Pakistani soldier died in the retaliatory firing which was actually provoked by the Pakistani side to infiltrate militants (so called blind jehadis). The pakistani army will always turn to CASH-MIR for getting extra bucks and buying villas in Europe, UK and USA & same is the case of bloody fat Inidan politicians and babus. Please do not bring religion in this matter brother. When all sensible options cease to put up a case then people usually turn to religion and emotions. It would be great to make India-Pakistan-Bangladesh a one single United nation once again; that should end this non-sense forever!! But, Before re-uniting India these social-ills should be destroyed first. All these medieval mind-sets should be sent to MARS!! To put it straight Akbar, India has never ever attacked Pakistan- that explains everything!

It is time to put a robust policy in place to dismantle the WAR INDUSTRY which is the ultimate beneficiary. If there would be peace in the sub-continent, then many economies will collapse. So, the enemy is more within our boundaries than outside. For long time, the Indian soldiers and the honest tax-payers are taken for a ride. But, I guess its everyone's fault to hand over our governance infrastructure in the hands of people such as Syphilis inflicted lover of Edwina and his cult (Nehru). The Army should force the government to declassify the Henderson-Brookes-Bhagat report over our 1962 Sino-Indian war debacle. Our only Prime Minister who wanted to draft our Laws in HIndi was found dead in a distant land in suspicious circumstances, and still not a Post-mortem was conducted on him? Again, this same war industry was the beneficiary. People change but the bloody game remains the same!! We are a great Nation and I think we should not let the lives of our innumerable Martyrs go waste.
