Mumbai: Broadcast India 2009 was held from October 29-31, 2009 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

In its glorious 19th year, the exhibition and conference hosted an even more prestigious, global platform for the film, television and infotainment industry than ever before.

Visitors poured in from across the world to experience, witness the latest innovations in products, technology and services related to the media and broadcast industry. More than 500 companies from 31 countries were a part of this dynamic buzz spread across 60.000 sq. ft! This year also saw new companies participating in this event for the first time ever and being awed by its enormity and significance.

Many world-renowned manufacturers also chose Broadcast India 2009 as a fitting backdrop to launch their new products this year.

Panasonic, Hitachi, Datavideo, Harris, Sennheiser, WASP3D took large stands which dominated the entrance and also gave Broadcast India show an international flavor.

In all, to say that Broadcast India 2009 was a huge success would be an understatement as many exhibitors said the show was at its best ever.

Broadcast India Conference had 18 eminent speakers from across the globe presenting scintillating topics in the first two days of the event. Some of the topics discussed were Indian Movies go Digital Stereoscopic 3D, Energy Saving Technology and Techniques for Broadcast Television & Film lighting, Mobile Transport Technology for News gathering, Increased opportunities for Film makers, HDTV etc.
