Online shopping site ShopClues.com raises $10 mn form Helion Venture Partners, Nexus Venture
Online shopping website ShopClues.com today said it has raised about USD 10 million (around Rs 54 crore) from venture capital firms Helion Venture Partners and Nexus Venture Partners.
With this fresh investment, the company has raised USD 15 million in capital so far.
"ShopClues.com has successfully completed its third round of funding. In a tough market, the company raised close to USD 10 million from Helion Venture Partners and Nexus Venture Partners," it said in a release.
Nexus Venture Partners had previously led the series A investment in the company in February 2012. Anup Gupta from Nexus had joined the board last year which has now been expanded with Sanjeev Aggarwal from Helion, it added.
The company, which was launched in November 2011, had clocked a revenue of Rs 35 crore in FY'2012. It follows the January to December fiscal year.
At present, ShopClues handles over 18 lakh transactions annually and around 42 million visitors a year.
Founded in July, 2011 in Silicon Valley, California in the US, ShopClues.com offers close to 200,000 products with over 5,000 sellers across India. It has 200 employees in India and has offices at Gurgaon, New Delhi, Mumbai and Vadodara.
