Singapore, August 19: : Oil fell by more than $1 to below $112 a barrel on Tuesday as a weak economic outlook in the US weighed on prices.

US crude futures were down $1.05 to $111.82 a barrel at 0358 GMT, as mortgage woes and anxiety over job cuts in the US dampened sentiment.
