New Delhi: Don't have time to make love. Go for Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) to have children.
With hectic corporate life schedule, many young couples are not getting enough time to make love to each other as they find themselves much involved in their desire to earn more and live lavishly.
Though they want to have their own children but are unable to make love due to the stressful work schedule.
Experts say they are witnessing a growing trend these days among couples who are enquiring about the IUI treatment and going for it.
"Due to odd shifts and increased stress in life more and more couples are coming to us with the same problem, that they want to have children but have no time for making love. So, we suggest them to undergo IUI," says Shivani Sachdev Gaur, Infertility Expert and Gynecologist, Phoenix Hospital.
"A few days back, a couple came to me for IUI. Both of them were working with leading call centres in Gurgaon and Noida. They showed positive results in a single cycle of treatment and that lady is three months pregnant now," Gaur said, adding they shared with me that they both work in different shifts and that doesn't leave them with time to make love.
In IUI treatment, a washed and prepared sperm is introduced into the woman's uterus (womb) at around the time of ovulation, with the aim of getting the sperm nearer to the egg. This is advised for low sperm counts, hostile cervical mucus and some female factors.
