A bench led by Justice Swatanter Kumar took note of media reports and the mention by senior advocate Ranjit Kumar that HSRPs were not being fixed despite the fact that lakhs of high security plates had been readied. The lawyer said non-cooperation by car dealers was causing inordinate delay.

Car Dealers should cooperate

Ranita | 14-Dec-2012Reply | Forward
I got my car a few days ago (9th). I had asked the dealer Rishab Motors, Okhla, for getting the new (HSRP) number plate put on my card. They clearly told me that I would have to do it myself. I told them why dont you tie up with those manufacturing them and attach the plates before the car leaves your premises. That would solve all problems. Clearly the dealers are flouting all rules. Take action against them not us who buy a car.
