New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that India was deeply concerned at the sad plight of the Tamil civilians in Sri Lanka who have been the victims of crossfire but insisted that there was no military solution.

"We are deeply concerned at the sad plight of the Tamil civilians who have been caught in the crossfire between the Sri Lankan government and the LTTE...," Mukherjee told reporters at the AICC.

The minister, however, said that "military solution was not the solution" and the issue has to be addressed politically.

He said that he had visited Sri Lanka and had long discussions with the leaders and asserted the solution has to be found with devolution of power "without altering the territorial integrity and constitutional sovereignty of Sri Lanka".

"India will provide all facilities for the rehabilitation of internally displaced Tamilians," the minister added.

Mr Mukherjee, Prime Minister , TamilNadu chief Minister all of you disowned tamils , their families , their children in the name of LTTE. I am a moderate and a very tolerant and simple person who grew up in those days of Mr MJR and Mr Karunanidhi fighting for the support of Tamils. We lost a number of months in the peak of our school days due the fake shows of the parties in power at that time. Now in the name of LTTE they are being butchered and a entire generation is being annihilated. Please stop the crocodile tear and act.The faster we act it is good for all the Tamil people all over the world.

I fully endorse the matured line of thinking and statement of Pranab da. The societies should learn how to live with ethnic plurality, like that of Singapore. For that, there should be strong will power in all the people of the society, either majority or minority. These groups must enter in to agreement to live together and must respect that agreement in to-to with the motto that “every body can not get every thing what they want” All these days LTTE with its might has troubled the government. When once the government started to recoup the military might and fight, naturally LTTE has to come down. The LTTE idea of ultimate winning of their cause with the might it self is wrong. Now the stage has come in Sri Lanka; both the parties must first understand to live together and then explore the mechanism. In this India’s military intervention is deplorable which will recoil on us in some other place. All of us should help to resolve the problem in Sri Lanks with maganimity.

Mukherjee's plan is not going to work. He is more worried about The Sri Lankan President and Chief Minister M. Karunanithi. Damages already been done. World started to learn about the real situation in Sri Lanka. Mukherjee must not say about the political solution on the other hand helping the Sri Lankan government in so many ways to eradicate the Tamil population from Sri Lanka. Thanks

In which world is Pranab Babu living in ? It is one thing to assuage the DMK allies in Tamil Nadu .The Sri Lankan Government is right now fighting the LTTE terrorist so they are all sweet reasonableness. Wait till they destroy LTTE and then observe their reaction. India lost on the day when the Lankans turned to the Chinese for their requirements of heavy arms and weapon systems which the Chinese were too glad to provide. The warwill be won by destroying the LTTE and the problem will be solvedby driving out the Tamils out of Sri Lanka. Then what ???Nothing, India will be saddled with a huge population ofTamilsian refugees pouring into Tamil Nadu One does not know which world the dim witted Tamil Nadu lawyers live in . By boycotting thecourts and by goondagiri if they think that theSri Lankans will halt their offensive ,they are sadly mistaken. The cause of the Sri Lankan Tamils is already lost and they have to livei
